THE RITZ-CARLTON - PALM BEACH

The redevelopment of the former Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach (now EAU Palm Beach) was a large-scale, multi-year transformation that fully reimagined the resort’s architecture, amenities, and guest experience.

Completed between 2006 and 2009, the project combined complex renovation, phased construction, and new ground-up structures while maintaining operations on a luxury beachfront property.

KMC Build’s involvement spanned full GC leadership and hands-on execution, including self-performed divisions such as site work, shell construction, and millwork. Working alongside my late father, we delivered a complete modernization of the property and substantial expansion of its program.

The redevelopment included an $80 million renovation and addition program, featuring:

Renovation & New Construction Scope

• New Guest Tower (ground-up construction)

• New 28,000 sq ft EAU Spa (separate project page recommended; overall spa program ~40,000 sq ft)

• Presidential Suite & luxury guestroom upgrades

• New oceanfront swimming pool

• New restaurants, including a fine-dining concept and the Club Orange Café

• Completely rebuilt lobby and oceanfront arrival experience

• Ballrooms & meeting rooms (full renovation and program reconfiguration)

• Ritz Kids Club (new children’s facility)

• New hardscape and landscape throughout the entire property

• New guest arrival entrance & porte cochère
