KMC Build – Where Development Meets Delivery

Our Story


KMC Build was founded by Dylan Finger, a real-estate development professional with a unique blend of hands-on construction experience, major urban entitlement leadership, and strategic consulting capabilities. From the construction trenches to boardrooms, Dylan has navigated every stage of the development lifecycle—so your team doesn’t have to.

Beginning his career working alongside his late father on a landmark $250 million luxury resort redevelopment, Dylan gained deeply-rooted understanding of site work, shell construction, millwork fabrication, phasing, quality control and large-scale project coordination. This foundation forged a discipline in construction execution, scheduling, subcontractor alignment and budget accountability.

Transitioning from builder to developer-advisor, Dylan led complex urban entitlement and infrastructure efforts including one of Miami’s largest-ever approved development plans. He also holds leadership and advisory roles with regional business improvement districts, granting KMC Build deep connections and insight into zoning, regulatory process, municipal strategy and neighborhood revitalization initiatives.

  • Board Director, Wynwood BID – advising on creative placemaking, zoning strategy and public realm coordination.

  • Chairman, Flagler Business Improvement District – driving revitalization of downtown Miami’s historic main-street corridor, aligning city agencies, stakeholders and funding.

  • Licensed Florida General Contractor – ensuring practical understanding of construction means, methods and cost mechanics.

  • Licensed Real Estate Broker – enabling site acquisition, off-market deals and lease strategy.
