PROJECT MANAGER/CHIEF ESTIMATOR OF SHELL DIVISION

As project manager and chief estimator, Ohl’s responsibilities include bidding, negotiations of contracts, quantity surveys, maintaining cost history, project buy out and value engineering. He has more than twenty years of experience in the commercial and residential construction service industry.

Ohl most recently served as president of VDI Concrete and Land Services, which was recently acquired by KMC in order to expand the tilt-wall section of the company.

Prior to VDI, he served for 5 years as vice president and chief estimator of Kodiak Construction and Management, where he specialized in tilt-wall, commercial and mid-rise projects. Ohl also served for twelve years as director of construction for Tate Inc., where he oversaw projects ranging from the construction of single family homes to the construction of a 400,000 sq. ft. airplane hangar at Miami International Airport.
Ohl currently holds a State of Florida General Contractor’s License.
