SENIOR ESTIMATOR

Rowntree’s responsibilities at KMC include providing preconstruction services, conceptual estimating, GMP pricing, value engineering, scheduling and presentation development.

With over forty years of experience Rowntree has served many positions in the commercial and residential construction industry. He has over twenty-five years of experience as an estimator working with hi-rise condominiums, office and retail, school, hospital, medical, laboratory and assisted living.

Prior to joining KMC, Rowntree served as senior estimator for various projects throughout South Florida. He served for 5 years as chief executive officer and owner of D&R Group Inc, a construction management firm located in Newton, MA. He spent 8 years as vice president of the estimating department for William Berry & Son Inc, a construction management firm in Danvers, MA

He has an Associate’s degree from Broward Community College and currently holds a State of Florida Certified Building Contractor License. Rowntree also holds a State of Massachusetts Builders License and a State of Connecticut State Builders License.
