CHARLIE L. FLENNIKEN

VICE PRESIDENT/CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF KMC SHELL DIVISION

Charlie Flenniken is the vice president and COO of KMC’s Shell Division. Flenniken started the KMC Shell Division with only 4 employees and has since grown to thirty-six field superintendents, project managers, carpenters and laborers.

With over twenty-six years of experience in all phases of commercial and residential construction, Flenniken is responsible for the financial aspects and budgetary operations of the company, along with overseeing all estimating, management and daily operations of the company. His extensive knowledge of the industry provides the company with an advantage in value engineering and attention to detail to avoid problems before commencement of construction in the field.

Prior to joining KMC, Flenniken served as president and owner of Professional Foundations of Florida, a large shell contracting firm. He has also held positions ranging from lead carpenter to project superintendent/manager.

Flenniken currently holds a State of Florida General Contractor’s License and is an OSHA Certified Instructor.
