KMC Corporation Completes Phase-One Ritz-CarltonPalm Beach Builder Flexes Construction Muscle – Four In-house Divisions Team on Project

May 01, 2007, Coconut Creek, Florida, KMC Corporation today announced it has completed phase one of the $65 million dollar renovation and remodeling of the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach. The project served as a showcase of KMC Corporation’s expertise within the disciplines of staging, fast track construction and working in an exceedingly “tight site.” KMC President Ron Finger, states “The Ritz-Carlton organization accepts nothing but the very best. Our goal is to exceed our clients’ highest expectations and I believe we’ve done that.” The project’s scope included construction of a new terrace, remodeling and building an addition to the existing main pool area, including a new ocean bar and cabanas. KMC completely remodeled the existing hotel entrance, lobby and restaurants and constructed a new swimming pool. In preparation for Phase-two of the total project, KMC demolished the hotel’s central tower, tennis courts, and parking garages. Phase-two will encompass construction of a new guest tower and spa. Construction is scheduled to begin as early as May 2007. The Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach presented KMC Corporation a welcome opportunity to utilize four of its six in-house divisions. Under the umbrella of KMC General Contractors, the Earthworks & Site Development, Custom Cabinetry & Millwork and Shell and Concrete divisions all played a crucial role in the projects on time and within budget completion.
