KMC Corporation Announces Pivotal Appointment Walter Miller Named President—Sales & Estimating |

May 19, 2007, Coconut Creek, Florida, KMC Corporation today announced, the appointment of a new Sales & Estimating President. Walter Miller joins the General Contracting division, bringing over three decades’ experience succeeding on behalf of a diverse client base of builders, developers and owners. His completed projects range from 15,000 to 250,000 square feet and are situated internationally. Prior to joining KMC Corporation, Miller served as Senior Estimator with Palm Beach Gardens-based Catalfumo Construction and Development. At KMC Corporation, Miller’s duties are focused primarily on estimating and contract negotiations for storage facilities and warehouses. Speaking of Miller’s addition, KMC Operating Officer Dylan Finger comments, “Our greatest strength is our people. Walter is a great addition to this team. He’s a seasoned professional with a distinguished career. His abilities and fresh perspective only serve to make this company stronger.” Walter Miller received Business Management and Business Finance degrees from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Construction is a Miller family tradition. His paternal grandfather started the family’s first construction business in Texas, in 1903. Walter Miller’s signature international projects include the World Trade Center in Moscow, Russia and the Pan American Intercontinental Hotels in Cairo, Egypt, Iman Jordan and Jeedah, Saudi Arabia. He has completed projects in 46 states and estimated multi story, hi-rise projects up to 24 stories.
